Our Bereavement Support Group meets informally in St Andrew's church hall on the 2nd Friday of the month between 2:30pm and 4:00pm. Anyone is welcome to come and, initially, people often come with a friend. Sometimes old friendships are renewed and the conversation flows over tea and biscuits. Visitors are welcomed to the many church social events and to services.
There is a special service held annually at St Bartholomew's church the end of October on All Souls Day. Additionally all are welcome at the open day at St Andrew's, on the Saturday before Easter, to light a candle in memory of a loved one. For more information send an email to the parish office or call on 0116 238 6811 leaving your name and telephone number and we will contact you. Anyone who has been bereaved is welcome to drop in for a cup of tea and meet with other people who have experienced bereavement. |
