The way in which we do this is by a member of our ministry team offering to visit the family to discuss both the funeral service itself and any care that is desired after that.
We will then provide a funeral service either in the parish church or at the crematorium, which will give thanks for the life of the person who has died, and seek to fix our eyes on the God who knows and understands suffering - and who is real and able to help us in our time of need.

Bible Verse of the Day
Romans 15:5-6“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

When the Lord Jesus stood outside the tomb in which his friend, Lazarus, was laid, he wept. This shows us that Jesus understands how much it hurts when someone you love dies. Our privilege as a Church is to do all we can to help those who are bereaved to find in Jesus all the comfort, strength and help you will ever need.
