The Parish Churches of Kirby Muxloe

St.Bartholomew's Family Music Group plays at the Family Service on the first Sunday of each month.  We practice once or twice a month on a Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Children aged 5 or over may join when they can recognise and play five notes on any instrument, or can play the drum on the beat.  Parents and grandparents are welcome to join with their children.  The Music Group is designed mainly for children of primary school age, but many members stay on as they grow up, and there is a wide variety of abilities within the group.  Older members are often asked to play at other services too. Once or twice a year we have an informal concert.
